Aggregation is not enabled. Try the nodemanager at IP:HOST

Question:
Aggregation service start
hadoop 2.2.0, I want to view Tracking UI,so I visit http://172.11.12.6:8088/cluster,then I click History of Completed Job,such as follows:

MapReduce Job job_1392601388579_0001
Attempt Number Start Time Node Logs
1 Sun Feb 16 17:44:57 PST 2014 master:8042 logs

Then I click logs,but it failed.
Aggregation is not enabled. Try the nodemanager at master:8994

I guess it must a service don’t start, which command I need to execute under
home/software/hadoop-2.2.0/sbin ? Thanks.

Answer:
Please set /opt/mapr/hadoop/hadoop-[VERSION]/etc/hadoop/yarn-site.xml:

<property>
  <name>yarn.log-aggregation-enable</name>
  <value>true</value>
</property>

in yarn-site.xml to enable log aggregation.

restart NodeManager & JobHistoryServer

    Thank you for writing this post! I have been looking for a way to start a retirement savings account for my son for months, and nobody has had anything helpful to say about it. Here’s my situation: My son is 6 months old. I have already opened a 529 for college savings, but opening a retirement savings account is actually more important to me. I know contributions to the Roth have to be earned income. Can I still pay my son out of pocket as a 6 month old (since he really can’t physically do anything at this point), and then 1099 it? Maybe I could pay him $25 a month to hold on to my cooking utensils while I’m in the kitchen, or something like that Please let me know your thoughts on this. It’s really important to me to start him on something now to activate the most possible compound interest.
